Granted, it doesn't take anything to machine down a spindle, which was pointed out to me by Mitchell (SpeedyTTZ). So if there is profit to be made (what, even $25 a set) by producing in house, or outsourcing from another manufacturing/fabrication plant, why not do it? There's nothing wrong with what I said above. What IS wrong is when vendors replicate someone elses work, put their spin on it (gold coloring or an AMS sticker) and sell it as the originators item. That I have a problem with, especially since prices on everything are so bloated.
